Alhambra Palace is a spectacular dining named after the 13th century fortress in Granada, spain. This palatial, 1, 000-seat West Loop restaurant-lounge with a Moroccan-influenced menu is the splashiest spot we've seen, well, um, maybe ever. You have multiple dining and drinking options: an upscale dining room, a two-story resto-lounge with a stage for live entertainment, a mezzanine with tables and skyboxes, a private dining space for 400 and a garden-like outdoor cafe. The name comes from the Alhambra Palace in Spain; the space is decked out with art, artifacts and furniture imported from Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt--there are marble archways and columns, ornate tiles and plenty of gurgling fountains. Look for choices such as braised lamb shank and chicken Marrakech (seasoned chicken breast with fresh pomegranate and walnut sauce). The lounge offers selections like tabbouleh, baba ghanoush and falafel, plus a variety of kabobs.
